Resident Artist wanted for Cucalorus 16!

Cucalorus Film Festival seeks resident artist/filmmaker for outreach programming. Spend November 7-13 in Wilmington, NC working with youth in the community. Resident Artist will develop and lead a hands-on filmmaking workshop for elementary students that will result in a 30 second short film or commercial. Artist also participates in Global Perspectives, a program of shorts for high school students and KIDSALORUS, a program of shorts made by kids for kids. To apply, please submit a workshop proposal, previous film work with youth, and a drawing of children in the future. Submissions can be sent to: Cucalorus Film Festival , Outreach Resident Artist, 815 Princess Street, Wilmington, NC 28401. Stipend and housing are included. Deadline for submissions is September 10th, 2010. Cucalorus brings people together to celebrate, discover and create independent films. The annual festival provides a non-competitive environment to honor and support filmmakers.
